Independence Hall Tea Party PAC Backs Gerlach
Thursday, May 13, 2010
(Philadelphia, PA) - The Independence Hall Tea Party PAC has voted
unanimously to endorse Republican Congressman Jim Gerlach in the
Republican Primary for Pennsylvania's 6th Congressional District, a
seat he has held since 2002.
Don Adams, President of the
Independence Hall Tea Party PAC said, "We appreciate Congressman
Gerlach's commitment to limited government and fiscal responsibility,
as evidenced by his votes against ObamaCare, Cap and Trade, and the
so-called "Stimulus Bills."
The PAC's Board of Directors
weighed the platform, credibility, and viability of the primary
candidates and voted, without dissent, to endorse Congressman Gerlach.
The
Independence Hall Tea Party PAC, formed in February, 2009, is one of
only seven federally registered Tea Party PACs in the nation.
The PAC's Board is comprised of representatives from 15 Congressional Districts in the tri-state (PA, NJ, DE) region.
