Release: Gerlach Announces Over $500,000 Raised

(Glenmoore, PA) - In the first quarter filing for 2010, and the first filing since opting to end his campaign for Governor and seek re-election, Jim Gerlach today announced he has raised over $500,000 in less than three months. The campaign has over $335,000 in the bank.
"We are extremely happy with the fundraising to date and are very encouraged by the level of support for Jim’s re-election,” said Mark Campbell, spokesman for Congressman Gerlach’s campaign. "We always run our campaigns as if we are 10 points down. This year is no different and it should be a strong signal to Democrats that Jim is again taking nothing for granted. By the fall, our campaign will have the resources to communicate why Jim’s pro-jobs, pro-taxpayer record is best for southeast Pennsylvania, and stands in stark contrast to either of the two liberals running who want bigger government, more spending and higher taxes. We look forward to the debate.”
